Aftershave Balm

The aftershave balm combines fast-acting care with a long-term reduction of beard growth.

Right after shaving, the skin needs extra care. Our alcohol-free aftershave balm contains aloe vera and allantoin. Both have a rapid soothing, moisturising, slightly cooling and anti-itching effect. Jojoba oil is a particularly mild fatty component. Its slightly coating effect provides immediate relief from flaky, dry skin, despite its low overall lipid content. The skin feels thoroughly nourished and exceptionally soft.

Special plant extracts derived from the bulb of the tarzetta (IBR Dormin®) are reducing hair growth and this way help prevent the ‘5 o’clock shadow’. In the long term, this means you may shave less frequently. Called dormins, they can control cell proliferation by slowing it down. Hair growth is significantly slowed down at the hair follicles, it also reduces the duration of the growing phase (anagen) during the hair cycle. As a result, the follicles are transferred faster into the dormant phase (catagen). Gurmar extract synergistically supports the antiproliferative effect.

Aftershave Balm also contains Korneoline, a biotechnologically produced enzymatic active ingredient with keratolytic properties, to complete the effect. This prevents hair ingrowth.
